WHO WE ARE
Dr Ringo Paonam is an osteopath, an ayurvedic doctor and martial arts master, who has developed a unique system of treatment for musculoskeletal conditions which draws from all three disciplines. His treatment is complemented by other traditional, indigenous Manipuri therapeutic techniques and treatment systems that are effective in diagnosing and treating a wide range of disorders.
OUR APPROACH
The Manipuri medical system, unlike conventional Western medicine, treats the person as an interconnected whole and looks for the root cause of symptoms rather than just the symptoms.
Dr. Ringo Paonam believes true healing starts with accurate diagnosis — a complaint may actually stem from repetitive strain, an old injury, hereditary weakness, or dietary imbalance elsewhere in the body. Treating symptoms alone often brings only temporary relief. The spine is central to his diagnosis, reflecting the health of the body's connected systems, and treatment is then tailored to each patient's age, condition, and overall health.
